May 10 Sat. 7pm: Movie Night watched The Four Horsemen, a conversation between Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, Daniel Dennett, and Christopher Hitchens.

May 15, Thurs. 7pm: SPECIAL EVENT: Oh my god, I think I'm a Humanist! HAGP's Celebrant and VP, Martha Knox, gave an introductory talk about organized, philosophical Humanism, which is both a global movement and network of local communities (such as ours!) The goal of this talk was to attract both new membership and hopefully leadership for new branches of HAGP in Philadelphia neighborhoods. Took place at Germ Books and Gallery.

May 17 Sat. 7pm: Book Club discussed chapters 8-12 of Freethinkers: A History of American Secularism by Susan Jacoby

May 24, Sat. 7pm: SPECIAL EVENT: The Freethought/ Humanist Movement and the Role of Our Local Organizations Panel discussion with leaders of PhillyCOR groups and related organizations. Took place at the Ethical Society Bldg.

April 27 Sun. 1:30pm: Program Mtg. - Attracting Young People To Humanism: August Brunsman, Executive Director of the Secular Student Alliance, and Amanda Metskas, President of Camp Quest spoke about those national organizations' work and missions.
