Fred Edwords, editor of the Humanist Magazine, led an interactive talk on The Promise of Humanism. It was HAGP's first's meeting to take place in our beautiful new meeting location: the Upper Moreland Library. Fred is a longtime Humanist activist for the AHA and is an outstanding speaker. He has spoken on radio and television shows, has been interviewed in newspapers, and has written numerous articles on a variety of topics. It was a great pleasure to have him give a presentation and then have him and his wife join us afterward for a good meal and casual conversation at a nearby restaurant. We hope to have him back again in the future.
